This is a class for pupils ranging from Reception to Key Stage 1. Pupils in Class Rebecca access a mix of formal and semi-formal pathways. Learning is very much play based, and lessons are aimed at being fun and engaging! The class has a total communication approach, with individualised strategies for each child.

Class Elizabeth consists of pupils on both the Formal and Semi-Formal pathway. The class work on daily living skills and pre stage curriculum, as well as following the National Curriculum subjects, Preparing for Adulthood and Accessing the Community. On Thursdays the class rotate between Swimming and Tutorials, where pupils work 1:1 with a trusted adult to build their confidence or talk about any issues or topics of interest. On Fridays class have the opportunity to attend Forest School, where they can build dens out of objects they find, as well as exploring the grounds.

Pupils in Class Carina dip into both learning pathways, with elements from the semi-formal pathway being used to support learning for pupils on formal pathways. The class uses visuals such as 'now and next' boards to help pupils understand the structure of the day. The class has a big focus on motivation and engagement, with pupils earning 'Peterhouse Points' and setting their own targets, based on their EHCPs, to earn end-of-term treats.

Pupils in Class Nick follow a mix of formal and semi-formal pathways. They explore topics at a deeper level and prepare for moving on to accredited learning, at an appropriate stage. Some pupils in Class Nick start to study for functional skills exams, whilst also developing important life skills to help them become successful adults with autism.

Pupils in Class Sian are on the semi-formal pathway, balancing academic learning with gaining skills that will prepare pupils to become successful adults with Autism. The class uses a full-communication approach to all learning, incorporating visuals and sign-a-long to ensure all pupils gain as much as they can. Class follow pupils' interests to encourage learning, and play to everyone’s strengths. Class Sian consider all sensory needs, and incorporate pupils EHCP targets into everything they do.

This is a sixth form class for students primarily following a semi-formal pathway. The class uses a full communication approach and focuses on preparing young people for their next steps after Peterhouse, with a strong emphasis on life skills and quality of life.

In Class Suzy students access a person-centred provision that aims to support young people to develop the skills and qualities they need to successfully move forward towards their chosen next steps.  Students mostly access a formal pathway, with tailored elements of the semi-formal curriculum where appropriate. The majority of students in school join Class Suzy in Year 10 and begin to work towards accredited courses, which are available from pre-entry Level to Level 2, with some students pursuing GCSEs where appropriate.
