Our Key Stage 1 students visited the Liverpool Philharmonic on Wednesday to see the orchestra perform “Storytelling Through Music”. Students listened and danced along to the music, and had the opportunity to meet French Horn lead Tim Jackson afterwards. They had great fun asking him to play their requests!

Students have chosen their own lunch clubs this half term! We are happy to offer football on a Monday – students from across the school have all come together to practice skills and play matches. On a Tuesday, Lego club is back by popular demand. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, students who prefer to enjoy their lunch break in a quiet environment have been making models and doing craft!

Today was a staff training day dedicated to 'The Peterhouse Way'. Staff shared and discussed practice on reading for pleasure, writing, phonics, Attention Autism and tutorials, as well as exploring how our work fits into the wider context of Autism Initiatives approaches. As always at Peterhouse, the focus was very much on what each of these topics means for our pupils' specific needs!

We were pleased to welcome our MP Patrick Hurley to Peterhouse last Friday! We are very grateful to Patrick, who took a lot of time to talk to our pupils and answer their questions, as well as finding out about our work and listening to our comments and concerns.

Class Nick have been celebrating WOW moments this half term — those standout achievements that make us feel proud. Both staff and students have taken time to recognise the moments in our school day that truly shine. These reflections remind us that achievement looks different for everyone, and every success, big or small, matters. We’re incredibly proud of all we’ve accomplished together.

On the last day of the Spring term, we held a 'colour throw' day (like a colour run but without the running!) across the school. This was an opportunity for pupils to mingle and enjoy a fun activity together - it was a great success and is likely to become an annual event!
