Our Art Exhibition takes place at Southport Art House, Eastbank St, Southport, from 12th - 24th Feb. It features art work created by all of the pupils from across school!
Our school is part of the Southport Learning Partnership, where we work together with other schools on joint projects. Love My Community is a special day in the school year where we join with other local schools to raise money for a charity chosen by the children of Southport. This year the schools have chosen to support Southport Foodbank. Pupil were able to come in wearing own clothes (or uniform if they preferred!) and help raise vital funds to support their local community.
Safer Internet Day takes place in February of each year to raise awareness of a safer and better internet for all, and especially for children and young people.
As part of this annual celebration, we encourage everyone - including children and young people, parents and caregivers, teachers and educators, policymakers, industry and others - to join "Together for a better internet". On Safer Internet Day 2024, Tuesday, 6 February 2024, we are taking part in different activities to celebrate this day.
We were proud to take part in Now Festival 2024, a mental health festival held at Liverpool Lighthouse. A group of Peterhouse students produced a video about 'trusted adults' especially for this occasion, and were awarded a prize for the most creative short video for this!

We welcomed two very special visitors in school today: Una and Violet (plus their handlers) from Dandelion Days! https://www.dandeliondays.co.uk/courses
Class Becca students met the ponies prior to the class going to visit them at their stables, as part of their ASDAN and Work Related Learning work.
Afterwards, pupils from other classes had time to come and meet the ponies.
The visit was very successful and our young people loved taking our four legged guests for little walks!
Congratulations to our Class Suzy students who have passed the reading component of their English Functional Skills qualification at Entry Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3!
