Thomas Forster is our Head of Expressive Arts.  Tom works with:

- Mikki Gleave, Art Teacher

- Titus Seat, Creative Arts Teacher

- Ruth Smith, I.T. Teacher

Peterhouse is ArtsMark Gold accredited and pupils have numerous opportunities to participate in a wide range of activities including two annual concerts, an annual Art Exhibition and a guitar club.

We are also a Trinity College Champion Centre.  Trinity College London is a leading international exam board and independent education charity that specialises in the assessment of communicative and performance skills covering music, drama, combined arts and English language. Trinity Champion Centres inspire other organisations by sharing their practice and advocating for accreditation in their communities and more widely.

We are fortunate to be well resourced in terms of ICT - every class has an Interactive Whiteboard, a PC and an iPad, and t pupils have their own designated laptops or other devices.

P.E.

Our P.E. Teacher is Nathan Browne.

Peterhouse is part of the Sefton Sports Partnership.

We are keen to promote active and healthy lifestyles for our pupils and all young people are offered the opportunity to attend informal activity sessions e.g. during lunch break times.  Each class has an identified pupil who is a Sports Ambassador, who promotes physical activity, represents class views and has an input into activities undertaken within lessons.  The school has an 'Athlete of the Month' Award to promote confidence, enthusiasm and positivity around P.E.

Pupils are offered a wide range of regular activities such as climbing as well as enrichment days for activities such as archery or skateboarding.  Pupils also have the opportunity to take part in inter-schools events such as the Fortis Games.

Science & Horticulture

Our Science and Horticulture Teacher is Victoria Hogarth.  The school has a sensory garden and a vegetable plot, as well as a horticulture plot, all created by staff and students.
