ArtsMark Gold Award

We re-applied for Artsmark Award and are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Gold status!

The panel has made the following comment about our submissions:

It is interesting to hear, not only about the learning benefits of the arts, but of their therapeutic value too. At Peterhouse School, Artsmark has afforded opportunities to extend and advance the range of arts offers, to further strengthen partnerships and share learning locally and nationally through conferences and events. The richness of the curriculum offer is impressive and the impacts on learners extends beyond school and into spheres of social and work related behaviours and skills. Peterhouse has used the arts in all their forms to link to Adult Work Related learning, for example. This has allowed Peterhouse to generate additional cross curricular links. For the future it will be useful to hear more about the different kinds of effect your partnerships with external providers offer, and to consider how you can extend the sharing of your expertise in autism in ways that champion and exemplify the role of the arts.

Congratulations on your Artsmark Gold Award!
