'Keeper' visits Peterhouse School - 29 April 2010

Peterhouse School was privileged to have a special guest on Thursday morning. ‘Keeper’ a registered PAT dog came into school with his owner Serena to give pupils the opportunity to learn about dog care. This was a fabulous opportunity for a number of our pupils to learn about grooming, feeding, obedience and agility. Pupils were able to watch Keeper perform a number of skills and then they had the opportunity to groom and work the specially trained Flat Coat Retriever.   As a PAT dog Keeper’s behaviour is impeccable and pupils who were not used to dogs quickly gained enough confidence to stroke and groom him. Thank you Serena and Keeper for coming into Peterhouse School.
